Today I have upgraded the Wordpress of this website to its current version 2.1. Everything went well and the overall downtime of the web server was about 5 min. The 2.0.x trunk of the Wordpress will be supported until 2010 but an upgrade is worth to be done because of the many nifty features that were added to the new version of the Wordpress.
Apart from about 550 bug fixes the new version includes an autosave feature that can spare you frustration due to lost more or less comprehensive article parts caused by browser crashes. Including backup and RTFM the upgrade took me ca. 20 min.
